Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPS Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets) today. The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

Choisya’s progressive form in the autumn, including a C&D win where she impressed with the ease with which she got to the front, makes her the one to beat but there will come a point where her tendency to hang left under pressure starts to count against her. It may not be today, and she’s high on the shortlist, but there are dangers. Adelaise and Mystic Pearl are considered but MANY TEARS looked a different filly when switched to the AW last autumn and her Listed win in November was impressive. She has to concede weight all round but she can make an immediate return on the 300,000gns her new connections paid for her in December.

A fascinating fillies’ handicap can go to the progressive MOOGIE who landed a quickfire double over C&D when last seen in the autumn. She’s bred to be useful and can notch another personal best on today’s reappearance. Ayyab (second choice) and Strong Impact could have untapped potential too, while Roxanne, an unbeaten recruit from Germany, adds further spice to the mix.

The most interesting horse is KRUGER PARK who has reportedly taken time to come to himself. He’s on the right track now after winning with a good bit in hand at Newbury and he’s bred for today’s longer distance. Accidental Legend looks sure to be involved if continuing his good recent work. Here Comes McCoy is best of the rest.

Legacy Power and Zivaniya (preferred in that order) are open to further improvement but benefited from good tactical rides when winning from the front at Kempton on their latest outings. NATACATA succumbed only to Man Of Riddles in the closing stages after running a big race over C&D in January and, now 2lb better off, she is taken to get an overdue win on the board.
