Both of these teams are the fifth seed in their respective conferences. The Eastern Conference is more top-heavy than the Western Conference, which is why the Knicks have to have a better record than the Clippers to earn the fifth seed in the East.

Clippers vs. Knicks Prediction
Without Jalen Brunson for the Knicks, they’re going to struggle to keep up offensively with the Clippers, who have had an improved offense since the All-Star break, where they added Russell Westbrook.
In early February, these teams met for the first time this season, where the Clippers won a high-scoring affair, and that could be a similar tune being sung tonight. However, the Knicks likely won’t sniff the 130-point mark without Brunson, so their defense will be key tonight.
For the Clippers, the opposite is the plan. Outscore the Knicks and use their solid defense, which they have somewhere, to hold the Knicks to as little as possible.
As 4.5-point favorites, the Clippers have some blowout potential for this game and could run away with the game for the big win.
Clippers vs. Knicks Player Prop Picks
Kawhi Leonard over 26.5 points (-110) Bet $100 to collect $190 FanDuel has the best odds
This is some incredible value for this matchup. The last time around, Kawhi Leonard scored 35 points over the Knicks. He’s covered this prop in three of his last six games, so this play doesn’t feel as much like a lock, but the Knicks don’t have an answer for him, and he’s been capable of covering as of late. Coming off two straight wins, I would expect him and Paul George both to come out wanting a big win to ride a winning streak, and this would include Kawhi covering tonight en route to their third win in a row.
Julius Randle over 28.5 points (-110) Bet $100 to collect $190 FanDuel has the best odds
This prop doesn’t feel quite as safe as the one before, but Julius Randle scored 28 points last time these two teams battled, and Brunson will be watching this game from the sidelines. More shots will be out there, and Randle will need to fill a big scoring void tonight. He had a very solid post-All-Star break stretch which resulted in some wins, but he’s played poorly in the last two losses. He’s going to be key in the Knicks getting back on track eventually, but his return to playing good starts tonight.
Paul George over 2.5 3-pointers (-145) Bet $100 to collect $168 DraftKings has the best odds
Given how George’s season has gone, I like his 3-pointer prop over his points prop. He scored 30 points the last time these teams faced off, but, more importantly, he shot the ball well. He’s hit at least two threes in each of the Clippers’ last three games. The fun part about being the second-best scorer on his squad behind Kawhi and playing alongside a great passer in Westbrook is having the opportunity to get clean 3-point attempts to get going and provide spacing for his squad. He should be able to cover tonight as the Clippers put plenty of points up.
