No. 9 Ballet Dancing (4-1) might bounce back at a hint of a price under her new rider Flavien Prat. She added blinkers and was strong at 1 1/8 miles Dec. 26. Last time she surprisingly attended lively splits before weakening in the lane as the beaten favorite. Prat probably will try to get her to settle into a nice stalking rhythm from the outside post.

No. 3 Australia Mia (3-1) went 6-for-7 with a runner-up finish in South America last year. She chased the pace and landed the show in her stateside bow in the Astra Stakes as the favorite last time. Frankie Dettori knows her now, and she might be fitter in her second outing in this country.

No. 1 Annaghlasa (6-1) stretched out, set the pace and wired the field in a flat-mile, special-weight, turf affair in January 2022. She showed the way and missed by a nose at one mile in her next start and stalked and grabbed show dough at this distance last March. She carved out the fractions before weakening in her October return and stalked a runaway early runner and landed the show on Jan. 28. The early-pressing type should make her presence felt from the outset.

No. 2 Queen Ofthe Temple (7-2) hit the board on eight occasions but has scored only once. She stalked, led and completed the exacta in the Astra at 1 1/2 miles Jan. 21. Juan Hernandez stays put, and she can make some noise in the lane.
