By CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu recently bagged the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) international travel award for – the best destination for heritage and culture at the International Travel Bourse-2023, held at Berlin, Germany. K Ramachandran was selected as the best tourism minister across the country.
In the three-day tourism trade fair held between March 7 and 9, the state tourism department set up a stall and highlighted the tourist attractions of Tamil Nadu.
Pamphlets and booklets were also distributed to visitors. To recognise the department’s efforts, PATWA selected the state as the best tourist destination for heritage and culture.
